Yesterday and today we talked about the " king's cake": la galette des rois.
We read a book and learnt a song about this special cake: " j'aime la galette"
They learnt new words to remember: une galette, une couronne, une fève, un roi, une reine.
We played the game " la galette" and they had to say: " je suis le roi/reine" or je ne suis pas le roi/reine".
hey made a crone and wrote on it: " la couronne du roi.../ la couronne de la reine...".Tomorrow, we will eat the real galette...
